Composition:
Each Lyophilized ampoule contains
Adenosine triphosphate(ATP) …………. 10mg
Cocarboxylase …………………………... 50mg
Vitamin B12 ……………………………... 600mg
Nicotinamide …………………………….. 15mg
Each solvent ampoule contains
Lignocaine HCl ………………………….. 10mg
Properties:
► Adenosine triphosphate is concerned with the storage & release of energy, it
has a fundamental role in biological
transformation of energy; so it improves
cardiac & peripheral circulation and hence it is used in coronary insufficiency.
It also
improves muscular power.
► Cocarboxylase the active form of vitamin B12 is indicated in many circulatory
disturbances particularly when associated with
cardiac dilatation. The neurotropic action of vitamin B12 is due to its capacity of promoting the
utilization of circulating amino
acids in nerve cells and the accumulation
and/or synthesis of nucleic acid in the neurons.
► Nicotinamide regulates the process of phosphorylation and the metabolism of
water and electrolytes.It has a
pharmacodynamic effect on the cardiovascular
system with special regars to the vasodilating action on the small vessels
which
account for the results often obtained in cases of embolism vasospatic headache
and Raynaud's disease.
Indications:
► Toxic neuritis and neuropathies from diabetes and pernicious anemia
► Coronary heart disease, myocardis and myocariopathies.
► Neuralgia of various origins as trigeminal neuralgia.
► Myalgia and
lumbago.
► Sciatica.
► Bursitlis and tendonitis.
Contraindications:
The drug is contraindicated in patients
with known hypersensitivity to any of its
components & in patients with a history of
myocardial infraction, cerebral hemorrhage.
Precautions:
► If
anaphylactic reactions followed
administration of Adenosine injection have
been occurred, do not administer further
injection, and intermediately institute
treatment for allergic reactions
► The drug
should not be injected intravenously.
Use in pregnancy:

established with respect to adverse effects
on fetal development .Therefore the drug
