Composition:
Each ( white color ) tablet contains:
Ibuprofen........................................400 mg
Dextromethorphan HBr......................20 mg
Phenylpropanolamine........................25 mg

Night:
Each ( orange color ) tablet contains:
Ibuprofen........................................400 mg
Dextromethorphan HBr...................10 mg
Phenylpropanolamine.......................25 mg
Diphénylamine................................25 mg

Properties:
Rhinorest is a compound preparation tailored to the needs of the patients suffering from common cold with nasal congestion
& cough.
 Rhinorest day tablet ( white color ) contains: Ibuprofen , a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with potent analgesic activities. Dextromethorphan , a non-narcotic antitussive that acts centrally & elevates the threshold for coughing. In therapeutic dosage dextromethorphan does not inhibit ciliary's activity. Phenyl propanolamine a potent postsynaptic receptor agonist that relieves nasal congestion associated with allergy or common cold. In addition to the previous components.
Rhinorest night tablet ( orange color ) contains: Diphenhydramine an antihistaminic with antitussive, antispasmodic & sedative effects. Rhinorest nighttime tablet ensures quiet sleep during night while Rhinorest daytime tablet is devoided of the sedative action of Diphenhydramine which is undesirable during daytime.

Indications:
► Common cold associated with unproductive cough.
► Influenza.
► Spring catarrh & nasal congestion conditions.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.

Precautions:
► Use with caution in patients suffering from hypertension, hyperthyroidism, coronary insufficiency & diabetes mellitus
► The drug should not be used concurrently with MAOI's.
► The drug should be given to a pregnant women only if clearly needed.

Dosage & route of administration & duration:
One day tablet after breakfast.
One night tablet after dinner.

Side effects:
► Gastro intestinal complaints may be encountered in very few patients.
► Skin rashes & palpitations may rarely occur.
