Each teaspoonful (5 ml ) contains:
Chlorpheniramine maleate................ 2 mg
Properties:
Chlorpheniramine maleate is
a potent antihistaminic with marked
anti-allergic effect. This activity is
reinforced by the ability of
chlorpheniramine maleate to lower mucosal
permeability and to block the pathogenic
mechanism of
allergic rhinitis.
Indications:
Symptomatic treatment of
all forms of allergy including:
Like all antihistaminics,
chlorpheniramine maleate, impairs the
patients reactions e.g. when operating
machinery, driving a vehicle ,etc... In
pregnancy and lactation chlorpheniramine
maleate should be given only when strictly
indicated.
Side Effects:
Fatigue, drowsiness, vertigo or
gastro-intestinal disorders may occur.
Dosage & route of
administration & duration:
Adults:
One tablespoonful 3 or 4 times daily. Children:

Storage:
