expectorant which increases respiratory

phlegm & bronchial secretions, thus reducing
sputum viscosity. Guaiphenesin increases
mucociliary mechanisms in removing
accumulated secretions from upper &
lower airway. Diphenhydramine is an
antihistaminic that competitively
antagonises histamine at the receptor site.
Diphenhydramine has sedative‚ antiemetic and
anticholenergicactivities. Phenyl
propanolamine relieves
nasal congestion
