Each tablet contains:
Loratidine……………………10 mg

| Properties: |
Loratidine is a
long acting antihistaminic with selective
peripheral Histamine H1 receptor antagonist
activity.
Loratidine is rapidly absorbed and
extensively metabolized to
Descarboehtoxyloratidine (active
metabolite).
Loratidine exhibits an antihistaminic effect
within 1-3 hours reaching a maximum at 8-12
hours and lasting for more than 24 hours.

| Indications: |
►For
relief the nasal and nasal symptoms of
seasonal
allergic rhinitis.
►Chronic
idiopathic
urticaria. |
| Contraindications: |
| Hypersensitivity to
Loratidine.
|
| Precautions: |
Patient with
liver or renal impairment should be given
the lower initial dose of 10 mg every other
day because they have reduced clearance of
Loratidine.
|
| Pregnancy: |
Loratidine
should be used during pregnancy only if
clearly needed.
|
| Dosage & route of
administration & duration: |
One tablet (10
mg) daily.
|
| Nursing
and lactation: |
Caution should
be exercised when Loratidine is
administrated to nursing mothers as
Loratidine and its metabolite easily pass
into breast milk.

| Side
effects: |
Rare and very
mild fatigue, sedation and headache were
reported.

Keep at temp.
not exceeding 30ºC
Keep out of reach of children.
