Composition:
Each tablet contains:
Analgin ........ 500 mg
Each ampoule (2 ml) contains:
Analgin ........ 1 gm
Each ampoule (5 ml) contains:
Analgin ........ 2.5 gm
Properties:
Analgin has an analgesic,
antipyretic & anti-inflammatory.
Indications:
► Rheumatic
pains, headache, toothache, postoperative &
post-traumatic spasmodic pains of various
origin.
► In febrile
diseases as antipyretic.
Contraindications:
Analgin is contraindicated in patients with
pyrazolone allergy,
hepatic porphyria or congenital glucose - 6
- phosphate dehydrogenase
deficiency.
Precautions:
► Patients
who suffer from bronchial asthma or chronic
respiratory
infections and patients with
hypersensitivity reactions
belong to a risk
group which, on using analgesic or antirheumatic agents of all kinds, may
develop shock (analgesic
intolerance).
► During
pregnancy, particularly the first three
months and the last six weeks, in patients
with haematopoietic disorders, it
must only
be used when prescribed.
Dosage & route of
administration & duration:
Analgin is given by doses
of 0.5 to 4 gm (maximum) daily orally or
by injection.
The dosage and duration of the treatment
must be determined according to the severity
of the pain syndrome.
Adverse effects:
Hypersensitivity reactions
such as: granulocytopenia, agranulocytosis.
Shock or hypersensitivity reactions of the
skin or mucous membranes of eyes, nose and
throat may occur.
Storage:
Keep at temperature not exceeding 30°C.
Keep medicine out of reach of children.

Box of 1000 tablets.
Box of 100 ampoules (2 ml).
Box of 100 ampoules (5 ml).
